DS3 1.6 e-Hdi - Steering feels different

Hi guys,

I've had my DS3 since March this year, for the past month, I have noticed my steering feels a bit funny. So if I turn to the right slightly the steering feels "light" but if I turn to the left it feels "heavy". I can't quite explain it but I feel it different.

I got my tyres pumped to make sure it wasn't that causing the imbalance, for about a day, all felt almost normal, now it has gone back to the funny feeling steering.

I have also driven it on a straight road and let go of the steering wheel to check the traction was aligned, which it is, so I'm not too sure what's going on... Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Sounds like you may have an issue with your steering rack, the system on the car is an electric unit and when they start to go the steering becomes 'heavy' as you described.

Checked suspension components? a failed droplink could cause these sorts of issues?

Unfortunately, nope and the problem is getting worse so I am yet again harassing Citroen to look at my car! Has yours been sorted? If so what was the issue?

My car has the feel of 'running on flat tyres'. I actually came on here to see if anyone else's feels weird. I find myself getting out to see if I have a flat tyre but they are always fine.
It does it a lot more after the car has been sitting in the hot sun all day while I'm at work then it feels awful driving it home.

My last DS3 did this too.
