Lexia 3

Hi guys,

Thought I'd post in this section as it seems most appropriate.

I had a DS3 from 2012 until last year, put 65000 miles on her, took here round the ring a few times, she was mint.

Now back when I had it, the lexia 3 was the tool to have to.make adaptions and what not. Is the Lexia 3 still the best tool for the job or has it been superseded (if so, what by?)

If it is still the best tool out there for Citroen related stuff, where can I buy the genuine tool in the UK?

(P.s. will probs buy another DS3 in 2 years when this ban has been spent)

AS far as I'm aware, the Lexia is still used by Citroen/Peugeot dealers.

You can find plenty of them for sale on eBay. In most cases, the software required will also be provided but check this with the seller beforehand.

Holy shit, how quick was that response!!!

I wanted to avoid eBay if possible. The reason being there is so much dodgy cloning on there, I want the genuine product.

Also, is it like VCDS with VAG stuff, you pay for the cable and the updates are free?

I think you'll be lucky if you managed to find a dealer that can buy one in for you from Citroen directly. I would have thought they're reserved only for Citroen dealers / certified traders considering they contain PSA software.

If you do manage to find a genuine one, I doubt they'll be cheap.

Most dealers have lexia. But don't use it only problem it's not been updated for a while most dealers now use diagabox ......
