  • Brake Disc Replacement

So my front brakes have a MASSIVE lip on them, like huger than huge, it looks minging. And I've just had my ds3 MOT'd and they didn't even mention them?..

Anyway I've been looking on good old eBay and I am not sure which size discs I've got. either 266mm or 283mm on the fronts and 249 on the back?

Just need someone to clarify which size discs and pads I need for my car

I've had a read through the forum pages and it seems everyone recommends EBC discs and pads so will defo look into them, although just the standard ones as I cant afford snazzy D&G discs and Greenstuff pads..

    The car is a 2011 e-Hdi airdream DSport+.

I can give number plate if I need to.

    Cheers guys and gals. Joe

If they work OK & have passed an MoT why bother? It's alot of money for a cosmetic improvement!

If you want to go ahead try this site:

I'm probably getting these greenstuff pads for my eHDi 115:

The disk size will depend on the engine rating the 90's having the smaller front disk and the 110's having the bigger.

My personal experience with ECB disks and greenstuff pads clearly shows that they are more cost effective than an OEM option, they also have superior performance, again only my personal experience.

I'm definitely getting EBC pads and discs for the front of my DS3 - the OEM seem to wear way too quickly and if the EBCs give better performance for effectively the same cost (with fitting) as the OEMs I'll be v happy
