What is a reasonable price for you billyc ?
I was so impressed with the Michelin Pilot Sport Exalto tyres mine came with that I have kept them on the car when it was time to buy new ones, great grip in all conditions and v quiet. With shopping around they can be bought for £80 a corner which is reasonable for me.
Others would pay more or less for their tyres

Word of advise, never, never, never, never, never scrimp on tyres. Regardless of how good your brakes, ABS, traction control and handling are they are all totally reliant on the quality of the rubber. Remember that you can fit the contact patch of a normal car onto a size of A4! So always go the best you can afford.Bigfeet's File Repository...I should never have doubted the Lord of Bacon!!
