SP Tuning Do It Again 150-400

Just nipped over to see Jamie again at SP Tuning for a quick map for the new motor :cool:

The new car is a 14 plate 115BHP same spec car that I used to have but younger and a 115BHP version

Below is a graph of what we ended up with and I was quite surprised :bow:

4th gear is stunning it just pulls The car felt quick standard up against the mapped 110 but after the mapping session it feels really strong

I love going there & just watching the cars on the rolling road & Jamie seems to get such pleasure from what he does I think that makes all the difference

hope I don't upset people.... but do you remaps VAG's Jamie? in particular the CR170... with all the emission scandal s**t, I will likely be wanting a remap for the power loss after Vw's 'fix'

Are you required to have the fix applied ? I mean you can't state that you don't want it applied to your car when it's being serviced ?

It not required by law to have it applied but could have implication or lower the re-sale value when I eventually trade it in, so once they've done what they need to I'm going to pu a dummy dpf in and remap and dpf delete, should run over 200bhp then :cool:

If the fix is going to downgrade performance or economy I would have thought that would reduce the re-sale value rather than the opposite - who knows eh ?
