Here starteth the problemos.........

Hey guys,

Right, I have the my signature (sat nav) and I noticed today that when I tried to switch off the unit by pressing and holding the on/off button that it wouldnt switch off, it would only mute.
Tried quick press long press, engine on and off.
Then, this evening, with my dipped beam on and all mood lighting on etc.
I was trying the on/off button again with no joy.I then press and held the mode button to switch of the screen, that went off....so did the mood lights, my fuel / mileometer dial and the rev dial all that was left lit was the speedo :confused:

Anyone have similar probs, or is it even supposed to do that??????

and this was after going to the dealers to get it booked in for the dash/sub vibes....grrrrr

Never seen the need to turn sat nav off sorry.. Why not just press the mode button and change it to the radio screen?

Thats not the point fish....say long drive at night and u dont want the screen on?????
My whole display, interior lights go off bar the speedo

Just tried a factory reset on unit...still same

Same thing happens to me ray, never thought it was an issue, more like a typical french thing lol.

Alernatively, you could look at reducing the brightness on the nav screen? Mines permenantly set to -4 and on night time map because of how bright it is.
