  • Sticking brakes

Hi, we have a 1.6vti auto, 62 plate with 12000 on the clock, sometimes the car is not used for a couple of days, when I put in gear and pull away the brakes appear to have got stuck and there is a clunk as they free up as I pull away, is this normal after not being moved for a day or two, the car is still under warranty and was wondering if I should get it looked at, cheers for any advice.

Happens on mine as well especially after the discs have got wet

Mine does it, and my Astra used to do it as well. I don't worry about it as long as they free off immediately.

Yep - mine does it too. Especially noticeable in the wet. I think they all do it.

Definitely normal, particularly after some rain.
