  • Anti Pollution Fault + Cooling Fan + Loss of Power?

Hi guys, basically as I was returning from work today, pulling away from a roundabout I got an "Anti Pollution" fault and felt that the car had lost significant power. I found that even pushing in the gas all the way, it does not accelerate well at all. When I arrived home I had also discovered that the cooling fan kept on whizzing away for another 5 or so minutes after turning off the engine. Also, I'm getting ridiculously high MPG readouts (like 900 mpg). What could the problem be? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

999 mpg will be coasting in gear with the live readout. Not sure on the other issues.

Some advice when posting about problems is that to help one would need to know what year the car is and the particular engine in the car. It does make a difference.

Loss of power and cooling fan probably means temperature sensor. Get it into your dealer, should be fixed under warranty as there's a recall for them.

This is most likely it, but say it was a 1.6 THP then you might have been steered in a completely different direction.
