Airbag/pretensioner alert

Hi,

I am being haunted by an alert popping up every 5 minutes.

It is clearly related to the seat electronics/wiring as it stops firing the alarms if I slide forwards in the seat. The dealer has also confirmed that there is most likely a short circuit in the seat.

Have any DIYers here fixed this?

Check that any wiring connectors under the seat are not loose.

As well loose connections check for any nipped, chafed or damaged wiring, theoretically it should all be routed out of harms way but you never know.
