  • Tensioner too tight

Hello, i have recently bought a ds3 which has had its belts changed, and it has a whine which i think is due to the tensioner being to tight, is there any way to adjust it or is it pre set?

Was the belt changed by the dealer who sold you the car ? If so I'd ask them to look at it, I don't know if the tensioners can be adjusted by owners...

With the bonnet open can you hear the whine on the driveway ? Are you able to narrow down where it's coming from ? I mean, definitely tensioner and not another belt ?
