I have worked in garages for 35 years. Every winter we used to make sure we had a box of fuses handy for people that came in in their droves with frozen water bottles. Also as 28 of those years was in a Citroen service department I kinda gained an idea.

How would a new fuse help a frozen water bottle?

because after replacing the 10A fuse the frozen water magically flows

Guys, guys, guys..... You'll all right in one way or another.

Word of advice when you put screen wash into a car, always check the "winter" rating as many so called winter screen wash don't actually work at temps lower than zero degrees. If you really want the ultimate in screen wash then fill the bottle with cheap vodka! A pal of mine worked in north Russia many years ago and it was a trick he picked up.

It's also great for confusing coppers when you get pulled over and the car is stinking of vodka but you pass the test with flying colours!

I always use -20C rated washer fluid as we do have that cold here in the winter. Never had fuses blown or jets frozen.
