  • Courtesy lighting keeps blowing a fuse

Hi guys I'm new to this forum, I've had a problem with the map lights and sun visor lights not working on the wife's 2010 ds3 black edition, I tracked the fault down to condensation in the roof area that had dripped into the centre roof liner light. This caused the F7 fuse to blow. I cleaned the light and replaced the fuse and all was well until this morning, The fuse has blown again, just wondering if it's worth looking at the connectors for the visor lights. Any input would be helpful.
Sorry forgot to say the condensation was caused by a wet towel left in the car over night.

Thank you, just an update, had a look at the sun visors and found damaged cables on the passenger visor, possibly fitted badly on manufacture. I'm going to repair the cables and will let you know.

Whilst your in there you can add some 29-31mm LED festoon bulbs that will brighten those dim yellow lights

Thanks for that Simon, where is the best place to buy those, also an update on the problem I had, yes it was the cables on the passenger viser that was blowing the fuse, all is well again with the DS3

sun visors are prone to shorting and blowing f7 fuse unscrew sunvisor and disconnect connector
