  • Four wheel tracking

    Hi all

Recently kerbed my front and back left alloys and now my steering pulls to the right when the steering wheel is straight, I was quoted £90 from kwitfit for four wheel alignment/tracking and was just wondering if this was a bit steep?
    Cheers.

Kwik Fit told me you can't do a 4 wheel alignment on a Ds3 as the back wheels are rigid.

All four wheels must be alignable, otherwise cars would leave the factory and crab down the road as they went!

The rear suspension is a torsion beam and there is no 'tracking' adjustment as such.

You could have it checked to see if it's been bent but it's a substantial bit of metal and it would take a fair clout to damage it!

Kwik fit will tell you it's a 4 wheel alignment and just adjust the toe.

So they can charge double the price to do a normal alignment on a DS3 ???? Nooooooo surely not
