Mine juddered a few times before the HPFP packed up, and the ECU went too.

I have also had a similar thing happen since my purchase last Wednesday.
My car certainly isn't juddering to the extent where it feels like it's going to stall but there is definite movement when the car is stood at the lights.
It does appear to lessen to the point of it not happening at all when the engine has warmed up. I'm still on the tank of fuel that the dealer put in on purchase, so they could have filled up with shan supermarket fuel.
If this isn't the case however and there is another issue, such as the fuel pump, how do I monitor the fuel pressure to be 48bar? I'm a bit of a car noob so your help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

I LOVE my car, and maybe a being a car hypochondriac, but I want to make sure my significant purchase is without faults. Its 10 months old and done 16,000 miles so I'd expect it to be fine. I just don't want to regret my purchase.

I know that we're all invested here and probably here for either the love of the car or advice on faults so this particular demographic is probably skewed somewhat in terms of the overall failure rate but it seems a little high.
Surely there has to be a case where all these faults are covered in the sales of goods act? at least in the UK?

I've been a car hypochondriac too since I heard the THP horror stories. Unfortunately it came true in my case. But I'm sure there are a lot of THP engines out there that work just fine.

cleaned intake valves, changed intake valve seals, new seals at variable camshaft, checked chain stretch it is at 66mm(factory recommends change above 68mm strech), chain was changed at 35k km at dealer car now has 65k km so I did not change
to new chain/guides since there was no strech although I had all new parts ready.
Car runs fine its just has this very very slight and small jiddery feel in the background while idling only like a very light misfiring. I have around 11.7 L fuel consumption per 100km which is pretty high for the 95% city driving I think and winter is not strong here anymore...I will change the O2 lambda sensor next and see it will help
lowering fuel consumption and jiddery idle since I dont have any mistake codes the new lambda sonda might be the solution for the jiddery idle. Otherwise I will just have to live with it as I read on some Mini forums it is THP engines "character" to have jiddery idle
