  • Window washers - adjustment

    Hi

Sorry if this has a thread somewhere else. I couldn't find one. If it's in the book, it wasn't obvious.

Can the front washer jets be adjusted? Mine are a bit high. I tried my usual pin method but it seemed like I wasn't making any difference.

    Thanks
    Jo

They aim high when stationary on purpose. Idk about the ds3, but you can't adjust certain ones with pins either. That's normally the old school ones with small metal nozzles. I'd guess the ds3 has plastic ones

Yeah I had mine out a while ago and there is no adjustment as far as I can recall, plastic nozzles and as said above they aim high when stationery but when on the road they should hit the windscreen perfectly.

When you say when driving how fast are you moving?

Mine hit the top part of the windscreen and roof anywhere between 0-30 mph but as soon as you increase the speed to 70 the jets fire incredibly low. This is completely normal and I'd advise against changing them.
