  • Armrest Install Help

Hi guys first post, I'm installing an armrest in my DS3 which previously didn't have one. I bought all the bits from breakers etc on ebay but I seem to be missing a baseplate part that the armrest attaches to. I need help sourcing this part either breakers or main dealer part numbers etc. Can anyone help with info regarding this part?

I've tried to attach an image to help define the problem/part but it's not letting me?

Having now posted this query the forum page showed similar posts, I noted in one of those the part numbers I possibly need, 7591 AQ Support (Front seat central armrest) and 4503 43 Bolts. Anyone got any pics of said items or price info?

    Thanks

Bigfeet might be able to get you some workshop pics when he turns up (I can smell the bacon now so he shouldn't be too long)

There is a dealer that offers 10% discount on prices if you're a full member, I haven't ordered from them so can't confirm that the offer is still valid - although I'm sure it is

7591 AQ is item 2 in the picture above.

There are two different centre console mouldings, as shown in the following two pictures. The first is the one used for the factory-fit armrest, the second is used where the armrest is not present. If yours looks like the second one you'll have replace it with the first type.

As Dave says the actual console base unit is different depending on what version you have.

Best option is to go back to the breaker as he must have the other bit!

I never forget the swearing & bloodied knuckles - an integral part of any job on a car (or maybe I'm just accident-prone!).

The blood offering must be made. The Gods demand it.

Hi, thanks for replies, I had everything bar item 2 in the top pic, have since sourced it and replaced all the necessary items and am now rocking the armrest. Main fascia is yet to go back on as I'm waiting on a C screen to be delivered.
