I bought my DS3 Dsport 7 months ago. It's a 2012 and has done 37000 miles. I love the car - it's my first one and I suspect won't be my last :-).
I noticed a few spores of mould under my drivers seat when I was hoovering it the other day. The carpet is dry but when I lifted the small bit of carpet that can be lifted (which is really really fiddly to get to) I can see and feel a pool of water.
I soaked up most of it with kitchen towel and it's very clean water but clearly, the sponging is saturated and I can't get in to it properly to dry it out. I think also the footwell of the seat behind drivers is also wet underneath as I'm sure when I press the carpet I can hear the sponge squelching if that makes sense!
Fortunately there is no damp smell (yet) and the windows are not steaming up or anything (yet) but suspect that's because the spongy stuff is stopping the carpets from getting wet! Also, I don't have a clue how long it's been like that as this is the first time I've hoovered it!!
No water anywhere else - I checked passenger side and boot - all bone dry.
Has anyone ever experienced this? Would it be classed as a fault? Any ideas on cause? I will get it in to the garage but would like to see if I can trace where water is coming from!
Any help appreciated. Thanks
