  • Blowers on full.... Won't turn off!

Hi all, I'm after some help. I've got a DSport Plus Cabrio 13 plate with blowers that won't switch off despite controllers being off on the dash. My husband is currently taking the glove box out to investigate but thought I'd ask if anyone has had this problem??

    Warranty expired 1 April !!

Are you talking the fan that is associated with the internal cooling?

The switch you turn that controls the fan may be faulty? (On the dash)

We've taken the front panel off the dash and the switch is fine.... At a complete loss

The switch should cut the power to the fan. If it doesn't, switch is faulty.

Live electricity in one end, over a variable resistor a nd out the other

We've disconnected both the leads that go into the back of the unit and the fans continue....?? Baffled...

The "blowers" must be picking up a live feed from somewhere

Take the fuse out for the cooling system and see what happens

Sadly removing fuse hasn't worked.... Going to order a complete unit and keep our fingers crossed ....

Have you tried speaking to your dealer about this ? Sometimes Citroen have been known to meet some of the costs for repairs just out of warranty
