  • Keep Traction Control Off over 30mph

Hey guys, I have been playing around with the features on my DS3 and I have noticed that the traction control does not stay off over 30 mph.
I did some digging and noticed that it only stays off on the dsport plus (Mine is DStyle).
No one has ever done a good skid at less than 30 mph so I was wondering is there some kind of tool I can use to modify the ECU so it stays off?

    Cheers :star:

How does that work, I guess it's a windows program and I'll need to hook my PC up via odb?

No its peugeot/Citroën official diagnostic equipment. A dealer wouldn't turn it off for you though on safety grounds and am much the same when people ask me to do it for their 207's

Unplug ABS sensor. Sod 'em. What I do when I take mine on track. Near side rear is easy to get to without jacking it up.
I run mine on Tesco Momentum99 petrol, woo, a mod?

I believe you can only turn it off on the THP DSport+ models, I had a diesel DSport+ and it always turned on again above 30mph

This. In the THP & Racing it can be turned off, everything else it will turn back on over 30mph.

Its a driver aid, numerous physiological tests have proved that ABS does not always provide the intended outcome hence why emergency braking systems have been added to many cars.

When I say safety I mean a feature included for those that would otherwise quickly lose control of their vehicle if it were not installed!

I totally get that it's a safety feature, I just don't get why it doesn't stay off. Most cars with traction control that you can turn off keep it off

not really, If you bought the sport you would have the feature. Get what you pay for.
