I mentioned in my first post that this is my first weasel powered car. To this end, this DPF business has me a tad worried. Although 'they' have just done an emissions service (I dunno!), I read somewhere and a lot in other threads here that I can burn off the crud in the filter by driving at over 50 for at least 20 minutes, is this right? My usual daily driving is a couple of trips of around 10 miles (each way) at between 30 & 50, with one trip a fortnight of around 70 miles at 70mph. Should I maybe do the 70 mile trip weekly, would this work out blowing out the filter? Massive thanks, as you can tell I am so new at this diesel malarchy
