Making calls

Hi all,

I have had a new wiring harness for the speakeers fitted recently to get rid of the whistle from the centre Speaker.

Since then I am unable to make calls.

The phone connects ok, the phone rings through the Speakers ok, but when I go to answer it, I cannot hear them through my Speakers and they cannot hear me.

Is there 2 Speaker harnesses?
1 for normal systems and 1 for handsfree compatibility?

Hope all this makes sense.

Thought I would ask here before going back to Citroen to question it.

Slightly off topic, did Citröen carry out the work to fix the whistle? And did they do under warranty?

For starters I would probably unpair / delete connection and reconnect see if that solves anything.

If this doesn't work then I'd take it back in, they broke it, they should fix it at no cost to you.

You need to do it as soon as poss though, don't put it off.

Indeed, the whistle was fixed under warranty.

I have unpaired and deleted the Connection and re-paired up.

This seems to have fixed things.

My only concern is if it was like the whistle I had (got louder when I accelerated etc ) this was due to the Earth wire and a known fault that Citroen resolve. So If it was that, and they haven't addressed that in addition to the harness, it may come back. Mine was intermittent - so if you start to hear it again, it might be the earth cable

Just something to put on bear in mind if it appears again
