white roof paint code?

Does anyone know the paint code, or the Citroen description for the white paint used on the DS roof?

I need a rattlecan to spray replacement roof strips needed for me roof bar fitting

I believe that Citroen call it "Polar White", but no doubt either Biggie or John Nicol can confirm that.

EWP is the code for Polar White, the other digits don't mean anything.

collected the paint rattlecan today - it says BLANC OPALE on the cap

Babelfish makes that OPAL WHITE

Comes with a can of lacquer too

lets us know how you get on especially around the flaps that open to fit the bars through, if they still work ok after spraying I might just paint mine

OK, the trims are different to the originals in that they have a flexible seal to the offside - I decided to mask this off before spraying with normal masking tape - bit of a faff but seemed to work.
The trims have a plastic coating with a non-smooth finish.

I used Haldruds white plastic primer and two coats of Polar white..........followed by a coat of Citroen Opal White and one coat of lacquer. I did the spraying with the flaps slightly ajar but there seems to be a good clearance anyway that the paint wouldn't bridge

The end result is very similar to the original finish.Time will tell whether the paint has good adhesion I guess !
