  • Tip for a rattling glovebox

    Hi everyone,

My glovebox had a very annoying rattle when driving, especially on our bumpy roads in Lincolnshire! Hubby fixed it by putting a couple of the clear rubber dots on, used normally on kitchen cupboard doors to stop them banging when shut.

Worked a treat and no more rattle!! [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]

Nice idea! The corner bungs that come with the car often have a habit of disappearing!

I followed a tip from WTF a while back to put a folded microfibre against the fuse box panel and the glove box door. Worked perfectly too....

Nah I think it's one of the perks of the DS3, that and a creaky/squeaky centre armrest ! At least they're both an easy fix

Yep I had a rattling glovebox, armrest and door cards. Oh and console between the steering column and dials. Many many hours have been spent sorting the noises. All is well now though (touch gloss plastic).

Citroen should consult with the forum on how to minimise the rattles and squeaks

I've not got the centre armrest in mine so spared the rattle from that!! Lol

I'm curious now, what's the creaky armrest fix? It annoys me to the point that it's always left in the vertical position these days to save my ears..
