  • Noisey engine and suspension

Having previously being fobbed off by the local Evans Halshaw I re-attended armed with a recording of my engine sounding like a tractor.
Went out with a mechanic, sorry technician, and did a route of the worst roads I could find in Sheffield.
From being told that the noise from the suspension wasn't worthy of investigation it has now been diagnosed as a dry joint in the anti roll bar. The engine noise is cam chain.
I await its return to see if the problems have been resolved.

Is the engine noise only at idle?

Finally got my car back, noisey suspension apparently a dry joint something to do with anti-roll bar. Ne timing chain fitted all seems good at the moment but it does seem to be pulling to the left a little. It has a health check aswell and that reports tracking ok. Ill check tyre pressures and make sure there ok.
