  • My DS3 is bleeding oil from the top

    Hi all

The enging on my 2010 DS3 THP150 used to look nice and clean, but now it is covered in oil - and it has started running down the engine and dripping down on the ground.

There is no oil by the spark plugs.

Is the rocker gasket to blame, or ...?

Check the seal on the pvc tube coming out the side they are really bad design on the early engines and like to leak, which looks just like that.

As ^ Cyclone said, or as you said, rocker cover gasket

Have either PCV or rocker cover been removed recently

Not by me. It was last serviced in December 15 - they might have done something, but I thought I had just spilled oil while topping up.

How is the rocker cover removed, btw?

Check the returning from the Turbo to the engine. Some idiot when replacing the feeding oil pipes from my RCZ let them loose, and was adamant as it's normal for an engine to have oil leaking. Comedian.

The pcv pipe is covered by the rocker casing. Can you remove the top rocker casing to see the pcv pipe? Otherwise how can you tell it's sealed?

Turned out to be the “box” on the top that had a small crack in it that could only be seen in very close inspection.
