i have tied that not sure if its on my chip or not but went on the settings in my car have not got set( parameters for risk areas) i have not a clue. will it work if i just get on of ebay thanks

I doubt you'll be able to find one of these on ebay.

It seems to me as if you're just trying to throw money at the problem rather than trying the suggestions offered. My reply to your other thread on the same issue should be sufficient to help you resolve this issue, as would the suggestion above from BigFeet.

From your last response I'm assuming you failed to read the PDF provided by BigFeet as this provides you with all the steps you will need to complete to upload the files you've purchased to your SD Card.

Then read the suggestions that have been provided!!! The Document in BigFeet's last reply LITERALLY list the steps that you'll need to follow.

If you're without a laptop or PC to make the changes to the SD card then you aren't going to be able to do this yourself. If this is the case then I would suggest following my advice in your other thread and finding a friend or relative that is capable of reading a set of instructions and following them.

Which implies you've possibly installed the firmware update incorrectly, hence my question.
