  • Strange Sound

My new 165 THP seems to be making a wining/hissing sound. Almost the same as a touring cars make because of their straight cut gears.

Seems to be only at pull away/low speed and think it is linked to climate control.
When idling and I switch climate control on there is a distinct noise added to the engine sound. Not sure the wining and climate control is linked.

    Anybody experienced similar?

just to add, I first though it to be interference to the speakers as read somewhere on the forum.

This could be the AC compressor.

Got my car back today after two week part back order wait. Delivered car. Problem not resolved. Seems to be a design/product flaw. Wat do I do?

Or if a part is on order, keep driving the car until the part arrives.

Edit: If it were a design fault I imagine there would be more than two posts regarding this over the 6 years the DS3 has been on the market.
