Loose wing mirror

Hi im new to the group and just need some advice please.

My wing mirror is loose and ive took the door panel of and the speaker out but cant seem to find a bolt or anything for the mirror.
Please can u tell me where im going wrong and give me some advice.

The bolt is deep down in there behind where the wing mirror is. You will need a deep socket to get on it.

The only thing we found looked like a long bolt but it was tight. When we moved the wing mirror it didnt seem to move it.

Have a look at page 4 of the guide. It shows how the mirror is fastened.

Ive had a look but its not making much sence
When i took the door panel of it didnt look like that underneath.
