Engine temperature guage

Hi
Our DS3 Cabrio temperature gauge has suddenly after 23,000 km stopped moving to the normal temperature position. Instead it barely moves off the cold position. Seems to be running fine.
Car is still under warranty so we'll be taking it to the local Citroen dealer to sort out.
Any chance we're damaging the car by driving it in the meantime?

When my temperature sensor went, and i called Citroen, they told me it was OK to drive for a bit
So I did (With the knowledge that all calls in and out my house are recorded)
