Fuel Filler Flap

Hello and a quick one from me.

Does the fuel filler cap lock when the cars parked up? i could have sworn it used to lock, but washing the car this afternoon i noticed it doesn't! The filler cap inside is locked and works perfect.

Am i going mad? Once the central locking is clicked on, should the filler flap lock or not?

Nope, flap doesn't lock. I always lock my car at the pumps before opening the flap, just out of habit (and paranoia lol). But yes, the cap locks inside to stop fuel thieves
