    Where exactly is the high pressure fuel pump located ??

    Also, is it a DIY option to fit/replace ??

      Thanks.

      Managed to get hold of a HPFP at a resonable price and paying Jamie a visit tomorrow to have it fitted.

      Hopefully this will cure the lumpy idle Ive had since owning the car.

            Yes, had the same symptoms on a customers C4 yesterday.

              Fault codes can read (don't ask me for actual pcode numbers)
              System too lean.
              Insufficient or low fuel pressure.
              Cylinder misfires on multiple cylinders.
              Mine never actually chucked any faults, I managed to to check live data reading whilst it was struggling to idle and only had 2 bar of fuel pressure, should be 48 ish at idle.
              White on red THP
              Miltek exhaust with HKS highflow cat, Forge intercooler, hard pipe kit, induction kit, oil catch tank, , VAG BOV, Stage 3 SPT remap 217 BHP

                Can I read the fuel pressure with Elm327 , over Torque pro? What should be the default pressure when idling and under compress?

                    I made a quick test drive. I saw 4800kpa fuel pressure at idle, and maximum 13.000kpa. Sometimes, especially when engine is cold, the engine is working lumpy, it's vibrating.
