Front wheel drive cars like the DS3 will wear the front set of tyres a certain way,the front wheels are dragging the car forward and steering too.
Also the suspension and steering set up will produce a certain camber which in turn affects the way the tyre makes contact with the road.
I find that one tyre can also wear more than the other say on the front, this is due to the frequency of driving around city centres that have roundabouts.
Also the rear tyres are affected by the suspension set up and ride height and camber, and therefore these tyres will wear a certain way. This is normal if the car is set up correctly, tyre pressures are correctly observed, balancing and tracking is checked etc.
So,as you can see there are several factors affecting tyre wear and not just one issue.
Tyre manufacturer choice, driving style and even road condition and weather conditions can also affect tyre wear too!

Like Jez says there are a number of things it could be. Are your tyres correctly inflated? You say the tracking has been checked, what about the individual wheel balancing? You could have worn bushes, suspension misalignments etc. All things to have a quick check on.

Hello all, thanks for quick replies..
Will check out what ya both said and get back to you.
I realize front wheel drive tyres wear out quicker but worn pretty even compared to back tyres(tread depth)
Having said that the car is bog standard no changes what so ever....but like I said looking to renew all 4 tyres
so will get to look at everything when wheels are off!
        Any views on new tyres?
        Regards

If everything's aligned properly & the tyres are run at the correct pressure wear should be even across the tread. Any uneven tread wear needs to be investigated.

Have you had a complete four-wheel alignment check or just front toe-in/out?

Tyres are all down to personal preference. I'm running Michelins at the mo, but it all depends on your mileage, budget and tyre noise rating preferences. Others on here will have their faves depending on individual experiences I'm sure. However, all this is irrelevant until your have got to the bottom of your uneven tyre wear. Get it into a decent garage or tyre place and ask them to check everything out for you. Keep us posted with what happens, be interesting to know what's causing it.

Depends on what alloys you have got on. I've got 205/45 R17 88W Michelins on Bellones. They are 2.4 bar too.

                  Morning all
                  return to old topic

                  RE: tyre wear

                  Had 4 wheel alignment checked

Tyre fitter said found nothing when checked suggested front wear was power steering....rears worn pretty even when off car.
                  Just me being fussy.
All 4 tyres replaced with Avon zv7 now so we will see how these wear!
Fun car to drive again now like when I 1st collected car..

                  Regards

Both my front tyres were worn right down almost to the canvas on the inside too - still legal but I had them both replaced at service/MOT.
