Flashing light in central storage

I have, or should I say the Mrs has, a flashing light in the central storage compartment directly infront the gear stick.
Anyone know why? I thought maybe the bulb is on its last legs and needs changing. If so how easy is it ti do?

Sounds like a dodgy connection to me. Not sure how to get in there though. Probably have to remove the centre console cover, which requires careful and gentle leverage and pokeage with a screwdriver, butter knife, or similar.

Manual might show where the clips are located for the centre console

Discovered same flashing light recently. Hoped someone might have posted suggestion. Not mentioned in handbook other than there being a light. I usually have so much crap in there that I just hadn't noticed it before. I think a phone call to my local Citroen is called for. There are no other warning lights on so presume not a major fault.
