  • K&N induction mini cooper. Will it fit?

    Hi all,

I came across a nice filter which is made for a cooper s 2013
and was wondering, will it fit?

    Or has anybody tried it?

Well that's the thing, as much roomy as it looks when you remove the stock airbox the Mini still has a more room between engine and the cowl than we do. While anything can be made to fit with effort. You have to ask is it worth the trouble, The filter part should bolt up but the box? Have a good feeling that you would have to modify or fabricate. Remember the engine may be the same but the car around it is 100% different.

Yea true. It need to be bold on lower box part.

Filter height is 140mm and box height 330mm.
Really curious if this will fit. But a lot of money just to try, haha

Get a tape measure out and start taking dimensions of your engine bay then. Make up a mock model of the filter out of cardboard and see if it fits in. Get a feel for the space by physically poking around in it, and save yourself buying it before having an idea of where and how you'll fit it.

No, just duct it into your passenger seat via the window, it will fit just fine.
