  • New Fuel Pump after a new Engine

    Hi all,

As you can see from my history, earlier in the year, I had to purchase a new engine from Citroen for my DS3. Thing's were going well, until in the cold, the engine started to stutter.

I took it back to the garage and they have now said that the fuel pump and pipe needs to be replaced at a fairly high cost.

Has anyone had a similar situation or can give any technical advice?

    Thanks

My engine was replaced in last July. When they did a few test runs, they concluded the fuel pump and pipes needed to be replaced too. Fortunately they did the gesture of meeting me half way in the costs of the parts and they didn't charge me any labour.

Thanks, think everything has been sorted now. Just wanted to know if it was a common problem.
