  • How much Mpg are you all getting?

I've had my DS3 for 2months now and I am just curious to see how mpg you
are all getting. I am currently getting 44mpg urban and 64mpg motorways but I still think that's a bit low for urban. I am not a
heavy rev type of guy so I have been driving sensibly to get those figures.

    Current setup
    61 plate 1.6 e-hdi dstyle
    Standard 17" alloys

If its the 110/115 i was getting 48mpg when i traded in.. Spirited driving! Constant foot to the floor plenty of revs... Sensible driving doesn't necessarily mean better, my HDI always felt better after a good rag. Just don't use cheap shit supermarket sludge and
    your king.

In my THP im getting 23.5mpg - Holy shit!
    Bwaaahhhhhh and Pshhttt erryday!

VTi - combined average 39-40 mpg. This is now steadily decreasing as I give less of a toss about fuel. Mixture of a lot of traffic crawling, some short-medium motorway stretches, and a decent mix of A roads

My combined average is 52 mpg at the moment. But here is still some room for improvement.

On my little 6 mile round trip to work everyday I can get between 52 and 55 mpg.

On long journeys I've managed to get from West Cumbria to Chiswick AND back just over a full tank of fuel which overall was well over 600 miles

Soon to be getting my car remapped courtesy of Jamie at SPTuning on the 5th December so will see how much my mpg changes.

This is all with a mix of granny driving. Regular driving. And hoofing it haha

There's nothing I can do to get above 44mpg on short journeys. I am going to reset my mpg and see what I get
From work to back in the whole week.

Two months ago, the company I work for acquired a nice little DS3 SoChic for me to run around in. It's a 2012 with a 92bhp 1.6 HDi DV6DTED engine. Sweet.

Seeing as Dutch plod is rather harsh on speeding (or on the wallet to be more precise), I generally take it easy which translates to 78 mpg. Thus far, I've gotten 1502 km (well over 900 miles) from a tankful. Needless to say this is granny style driving, I'll have to wait and see what happens on the German Autobahn.

                  See here...

Admittedly, I always fill her up to the filler cap and I enjoy a little excitement in the way of running the tank nearly empty. And no, I'm not bothered about possible dirt being sucked up from the bottom of the tank, that's what fuel filters are for.

Managed to get 57.11 litres in there.

Next target is 1,000 miles on a tankful. But, as this is a company owned car, some of my coworkers get to use the DS3 as well, effectively killing my tank range.
At some point I will come up with a signature.

57 litres is impressive, especially as the diesel DS3 supposedly only has a 48 litre fuel tank...

                    From the manual:
                    Tank capacity:
                    -approximately 50 litres (petrol),
                    -approximately 48 litres (Diesel).
Either you have massively over filled it or the fuel station is ripping you off.

I could have sworn it was a 60 litre tank. I've put in close to 50 before, didn't realise I was cutting it so fine o_O

Just going with what's in the manual. It's possible it has a 5L reserve tank (I know it beeps with 5L remaining), I'm sure Biggy can confirm.

Actually the 2012 version of the manual states 46L for the diesel.

Our 1.6 diesel is the same if you live in a hilly area or it's cold then that's all you'll get. Ours just scrapes 50 in summer and matches your current mpg in winter.

On a motorway at 60 it'll do 60mpg however it goes on a motorway once a month and does at least 70...so er yeah. At least having to thrash the balls off it to get up hills keeps the dpf happy..
