  • Radio stuck on SILENCE

After carefully following the instructions, cleaning the condenser with foam through the center vents, via a long thin tube, my radio is suddenly stuck on "SILENCE".
I'm able to turn it on and off, play through the display menus, but thats about it. The stalk next to my steering wheel doesn't respond.
I immediately tried cutting the power at the battery and while that reset the clock etc. the radio is still stuck on "SILENCE"...
What am i going to do now?
Hope you guys can help me out and thanks in advance

    Welcome to the club

Is it only the radio that doesn't work or can you play music from a USB drive?

If it's just the radio, I would guess it's the aerial connection. If it's everything, possibly the speaker connections.

The car was left without ignition or any electrics activated, i then inserted the hose to spray foam at the condenser, left the car to dry for an hour and started driving.

My car doesnt have a USB connection, but i cant change the input or do anything else audio-related.
Setting the date, units etc. is not a problem though.

I have just ejected the head-unit and it turns out that the cable interfaces were damp from that darn foam.
So i put it in front of a fan, I'll reconnect and see if that does the trick once i figure its dry.

Im done for now, but the issue is that my radio's stuck on "SILENCE" , even after blow drying it...

Could there be a fuse somewhere that needs replacement?
If not, i guess that my stalk and/or head-unit are toast...
