DS3 Drivers Seat

Hi was wondering if anyone can help please?

The drivers seat on my car has jammed and so failed an MOT i managed to remove all the nuts so i can remove the seat to get at the runner...
i assume the cable and plug underneath the seat are to activate the airbag can anyone tell me if it is safe to just disconnect this plug

I would say definitely disconnect the battery first would be a wise idea, anything airbag related. But please wait for someone else's advice.

When fitting my new seats I did not disconnect the battery before unplugging. All that happened was a warning message on the screen saying airbag disconnected and a dash light (because I had the radio on while doing it, shouldn't have really but ah well)

Better to be safe than sorry though, if you are concerned then you can disconnect the battery.

Yeah, I disconnected the battery on mine before unplugging the air bag connectors.
