Has anyone tried to change heat dials or electric controls?

Has anyone tried changing the twist heat dials to electric, is that possible?

I think it's possible but quite an expensive thing to change and not easy either.

Friend wanted to get this done but in his Audi and they quoted him a massive bill to get it done due to all the work, wiring and sensors that need to be put in.

This question has been asked before. In short, you'd need a complete new heater unit, several additional sensors & a lot of work!
