Can't find a switched fused!!!

I am trying to hardcore my nextbase dashcam piggy backing off fuse F8 but it remains on constantly!! Tried various other fuses like rear wiper but the same happens.

Any advice please.

Get a multimeter and test what lines pull the correct voltage when the engine is on, and zero power when off.

Yeah, I hard wired my dashcam in as well and had to find both a permanent live and ignition one due to the way my dashcam works, multimeter will find you one to power when ignition is on only.

No.....seems everyone I try is not switched. I've understood the economy mode thing so maybe that's what's causing it. Maybe it powers up when you unlock the car and times out after you've locked it.

As present I remove the dash cam when parked anyway so it won't drain the battery

I think I had mine plugged into the rain sensor fuse, it did turn on when the car was unlocked remotely but powered off when switched off (after about 30 seconds)
