  • Exhaust 1.2

Hey guys I have a 1.2 pure tech DS3 2016, and I'm wanting to get an exhaust done for it, I'd like a sporty sounding one, any recommendations on what to get and by who? Long life, power flow etc. Thanks [emoji16]

There was another exhaust thread not that long ago for a THP, I think the general path of the exhaust will be the same, just the exhaust manifolds and downpipes different to match them up to the different engines. Really it's all about what you want. Milltek and Bastuck are evil sounding but very expensive. I'd always say custom fabricated is best, so you have full choice of size/number/lack of silencers, pipe diameter, and tailpipe design and size. As long as you go to a decent exhaust specialist who knows what they're talking about they should be able to give you exactly what is in your head, or advise you if you're undecided.

Custom is the best way I think. I went to Topgear in Stockport who do Longlife exhausts and I like mine. I do wish mine was louder to be honest, though.

          Moved from the meets section

Did you decide what to go for?

I bought a Long Life when mine corroded off. £450 fitted and it sounds a little bit nicer than the stock, but not too loud:
