  • eHDI 1.6 2013, flat spot in 1st

I seem to be getting a flat spot in 1st every now and again; feels like your trying to pull away in 3rd... Caught me out at a junction this morning, leaving me stuck half way out...

Search of the forum showed people with similar problems, but no mention of an actual solution or what is actually causing it. Bit of suggestion of a bad map or fuel issues, but nothing better than a guess it seemed.

Any one know where to start looking... I don't fancy just giving it to the garage and say have at it... 💸💸

    Ta 👍

Will that show up as a code...? Did have it as an issue on my old pug (but that put the car in limp mode)?

Is there an easy way of freeing it up? I Don't know how much of a job it is on ds3s to get to, but had taken quite a bit of effort on the pug..

Every job on a PSA engine is an effort lol, the EGR is well buried. It won't necessarily through a fault for a moment of laziness or sticking.
Should be plenty of additive treatments for it on the market, worth a try I suppose.

I'll try one or two of the snake oils, hopefully it'll clear up a little..
