So I've recently bought a DS3 racing (still driving my THP) until it's ready and have hit a bit of a snag. The offside rear spring has snapped and needs replacing. Was going to do it in a pair just so they're both new. I need them ASAP really because as soon as they're fitted I can get to driving it. All the ones on eBay that I've tried to get are all either outsourced and take weeks to arrive or there is some other problem. I was just wondering if anyone knew whether I would be ok just using one from a regular DS3, from what I can gather the racing ones are different, but I'm just wondering if it would suffice, permanently or at least long enough for the proper ones to arrive. If anyone knows the answer or has any suggestions I'd be really helpful. On a bit of a tight budget at the minute paying for the car and need to sell my old one. Thank you.

Unless the car is sagging on the broken spring side, then it's probably fine to drive (carefully, not too fast over speed bumps and potholes, no hard cornering) while you wait for the new springs to be delivered.
I would definitely go with the correct springs over the others, if you are waiting to sell the current car, may as well keep driving it. I know you're probably anxious to get going in the Racing, but you're better off getting it in perfect shape first.
Have you tried Eurocarparts? Demontweeks? There's quite a few parts suppliers who aren't ebay. -

Thanks for the reply. Yeah tried europarts and they didn't have any results for springs. Tried a few other places as well like but the same story. Saw autodoc but don't think I looked into it. Could you send me the link for them Please?Comment

Thats the one. I get almost all my parts there. Mostly febi bilstein which is the same as swag. Never had any problem with the brand. Filters are mahn filters. But they have alot for a very low price.
