Think yeehaa needs a new turbo :(

Anyone with a bit more of a mechanical mind than me ...

Ds3 racing lost all power from the turbo I'm guessing, can hear the turbine spinning inside but it's not providing any boost to the engine at all ... I've checked all the boost pipes and they're all still connected but don't know where to go from there ... can anyone help please [emoji16]

Nope ... seems to be drawing air through the pipes and a high pitched whistle sound coming from under the turbos heat shield so maybe a seal or another turbo required lol

Should have her back tomorrow... garage thinking it is an induction fault as there are no warning or management lights on the dash and looks like the induction set up has been bodged by previous owner so they have ordered a new one and it's getting fitted tomorrow... also been advised that the turbo is not looking good and may need refurbishment/ replacement in near future [emoji58]

Yeehaa update ... in need of new turbo but cannot source one for the racing so have got a company coming to take it and recondition it with a 3 day turn around service so hopefully have her back by the weekend [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]
