iPhone via USB - Hourglass Of Doom!
Hey all,
Had a quick peek at the last few months of threads and can't find anyone else posting the problem but:
Since I installed the latest patch on my iPhone 6S, I can't do the following via the USB input and iPod source function:
* Select any music using the "List" button (Button Unavailable! warning)
* Play music directly from the iPhone through the system via USB. Song may come up but won't play and shows errors in track information, can't skip to next song in a playlist.
* Whenever a song may load, but as above won't play; "Repeat" or "Shuffle" is automatically highlighted on the iPhone
All above result in the never ending Hourglass of Doom!
I've pulled the plug from the head unit and left it for 5 minutes, no change
I've pulled the No8 20A fuse from the glove box which reset the system, no change.
In the past, I must admit the interface between my iPhone and the music system has always been riddled with bugs, but I've never known it not to play anything before.
Bluetooth works just fine, although saying that the sound quality is truly rubbish. It was taken back to Citroen to see if they had a patch to install on the radio but they couldn't help and said: "well it works fine with my phone..."
Want to know if anyone else has had issues with their iPhones and the interface.
Advice greatly appreciated.
