  • Rubber Spacers - Front Springs

Anyone had any issues with the front rubber spacers popping out at the bottom of the spring which then causes a knocking sound?

I'd not seen them before. I went over a speed bump last week and it instatntly started knocking, I looked around the front springs and then I noticed the bottom rubber had popped out on the drivers side, jacked the car up pushed it back in, job done.

My front drivers side has popped out again and that was without going over any speed bumps!

Where is everyone else's placed on that spring? Mine is at the front and the passenger side is at the rear of the spring.

Here's a picture of mine, bloody annoying, the only way to pop it back in is by jacking up the car to stretch the spring, only the car doesn't have a jack does it.....................................

Is that the same position as everyone elses as the passenger side is at the rear of the spring, drivers side at the front.

Had the car out to give her a wash today, checked the springs but wasn't sure what I was looking for. I will check again next time I get her out.

No rubbers like yours Stef on my DSport, I think they're shipping rubbers too, and are meant to be removed.
