    DIY, it's easy enough.

Sand it down using some rough paper through to smoother paper

Apply primer - couple of layers if you want

Leave to dry for a day

    Light spray of paint

    Leave to dry for 30mins/1hr

    Thicker spray of paint

repeat last two steps with occasional bit of sanding after leaving to dry for a bit

Leave for 24 hours to dry

    Couple coats of lacquer

    Leave to dry

You don't learn without trying things first hand

Best bet is nip into Halfords and get them to colour match for you.

you can get the primer and laq from them too.

I don't claim to be a pro but I have dabbled before and it didn't result in my wheel falling off

Love the banter! I love Zacks failed attempts, they remind me of when I play with cars.

Gareth, where did you get the dashboard covers from? I looked on ebay but couldn't find any.
