Now the knobs off how do I remove the gaiter?

Any help welcome. To change the gear knob I need to get it out of the gaiter and can't see how to.

Tricky work but push it inwards and pull up..

Is that the bottom (wide) end you push in Fish?

Take a pic for me. Can't remember too well as I put my standard one back on. Aftermarket one didn't fit too snugly.
