The radio doesn't have it's own code, it's programed to the immobilizer of the car which means the radio will only work in your DS3. You will be fine to disconnect the battery.

Yeah Im Sure If I Can Drop My ECU Casing Onto My Live Battery Creating A Spark And A BANG Then Drive Off With Everthing Working I'm Sure Disconnecting Your Battery Will Be Fine :L
