Front suspension creaking/knocking

My front suspension started creaking a few months ago which then turned into a knocking noise when i started doing more miles... the steering became vague and road noise increased... this was down to the bearings on the top mounts giving up. The car has now done 12,000 miles...

Anyone else had anything similar, my dealer said it was a first for them on a ds3??

Yep, strut mounts on mine replaced due to knocking.
